2. What data we process
What you give us when filling in the contact form:
- Required: full name, email address and the description of the project.
- Optional: company or institution, phone number, project type, format and approximate deadline.
In addition, as with any website, our hosting provider automatically records the IP address and basic technical data of each visit (date, browser, pages requested), for the sole purpose of keeping the site running and for security reasons.
We neither request nor process special categories of data. Please do not include sensitive information in your message, or third-party data we do not need in order to reply.
3. For what purpose
- To answer your enquiry and keep up the exchange of messages arising from it.
- To study the project and prepare a detailed quote for you.
We do not use your data to send unsolicited marketing messages, and we carry out no profiling or automated decision-making.
4. Legal basis
The consent you give by ticking the box on the form before sending it (article 6.1.a GDPR). You may withdraw it at any time by writing to us, without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. If the exchange leads to a commission, the basis becomes performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures (article 6.1.b GDPR).
5. How your enquiry is sent
The contact form uses Formspree, a third-party service that handles receipt of the submissions —this site is static, with no server of its own to receive them—. When you press “Send enquiry”, your data is transmitted to the servers of Formspree Inc. in the United States, which forwards your message to us by email and keeps a copy in its private dashboard, accessible only by us.
Formspree acts as data processor. This international transfer of data is covered by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) approved by the European Commission, under article 46 GDPR. You can consult its privacy policy at formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy.
6. For how long
We keep the correspondence for as long as the relationship lasts and, afterwards, for the legally required limitation periods —in particular those set out in commercial and tax legislation. If your enquiry does not lead to a commission, we delete the message once it is no longer needed to answer you.
7. Who it is disclosed to
We do not pass your data to third parties, except where legally obliged. The form message is processed through Formspree, which acts as data processor (see section 5). The site is hosted by Hostinger which, like any hosting provider, records the IP address of each visit in its own access logs, also acting as data processor. If you play an embedded video, YouTube (Google Ireland Limited) receives your IP address as part of that playback — see section 9.
8. Analytics and other trackers
The site includes no analytics tools, social media buttons or tracking pixels.
9. Cookies and embedded content
This site installs no cookies of its own and loads no third-party content automatically when the page opens.
The services pages include videos hosted on YouTube. By default only a static preview is shown: no connection with Google takes place until you choose to play the video. Next to the play button you will find a notice saying so. When you click, the YouTube player loads (in its privacy-enhanced mode, youtube-nocookie.com), which involves a connection to Google’s servers in the United States —with the international transfer of your IP address that this entails— and the installation of the cookies required for playback. You can consult Google’s privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
As nothing loads automatically, we do not need to show a cookie banner: clicking «play video», done with this information already available, is the action that gives consent for that specific playback.
10. Your rights
You may exercise at any time the rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability, as well as withdraw the consent given. To do so, write to legal@bitlandediciones.com stating the right you wish to exercise and attaching a document proving your identity.
If you consider that we have not dealt with your request properly, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es), the competent supervisory authority.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect legislative developments or changes in how the site works. The date of the last update appears at the top of the page.
